Tiburon is a beautiful and affluent town famous for its stunning views of the top attractions in the Bay Area: the San Francisco skyline, Angel Island, Alcatraz, the Bay and Golden Gate Bridges and Sausalito. Bordered by Mill Valley and Corte Madera, its location on the Tiburon peninsula gives residents waterfront access in three directions and a fast ferry service to downtown San Francisco and Angel Island. A popular sailing community, Tiburon is home to The Tiburon Yacht Club, The San Francisco Yacht Club and The Corinthian Yacht Club. The small but sophisticated downtown area has a movie theater, chic boutiques and upscale restaurants. Sam’s Anchor Cafe, a local institution since 1920, offers outdoor dining on the harbor and has one of the only public docks in the Bay area.
